“Pat, I just wanted you to know the value of the Master Mind class for me. I had an “aha” and a shift in my thought process for my presentation today when you pointed out the obvious…. The program for the umbrella of grief, including divorce, is the BREATHE program! Anyway, I was excited and just had to share!”
“Almost 2 years after my husband’s unexpected death, I was functioning, keeping busy through my days, and even having times of fun. But my soul was joyless, and my heart was still so broken, I could physically feel the pain in my chest. I had experienced the death of my young son almost 25 years before, so I knew firsthand how much work I needed to do to make some sense of it all. I came across Pat’s B.R.E.A.T.H.E. Program and it was exactly what I needed to not just move on from grieving my loved ones, but to move forward with them.
This process also helped me cement my thoughts on how I could help others who have experienced similar loss.
I completed the Confident Grief Coaching Program with Pat and can’t say enough good things about it. Each week, we experienced the details of the B.R.E.A.T.H.E. program in detail and also learned to coach each other with feedback from both Pat and the other participants in the co-hort. The curriculum that Pat created is powerful, well thought out and organized and she is an excellent teacher, supporter, and coach!”
“I decided to take this course even though I am already certified as a grief coach because I found Pat’s book midway through my previous class, and I thought “this is the class I really wanted to take.” Part of my reasoning was that she had a clearly laid out program to follow and BREATHE is the acronym for the program. It covers everything from breathing practice, because often grieving people forget to breathe, to testing to determine if your client is far enough along in their grief work to benefit from grief coaching to co-creating a support group for the griever and self-care, visualizations and so much more.
The program is based on Pat’s experience as a grief coach and includes what she has learned from her grief clients, are techniques that work. Best of all our class time on-line is mostly spent being the coach or the client or the feedback observer, and Pat supervises your work in class, too. You get a lot more experience time coaching with actual feedback in her program. Also, you actually participate in going through the whole program yourself, so you know what every segment of the program feels like yourself. It is a very closely knit class group with a small class size and we all cheer each other on. Pat sets the tone with her positivity, energy and eagerness to share her learning, and you as a student are a very active partner in the process.
It definitely is the way to go, if you want to leave the program being the confident grief coach Pat promises to help you become. I am having a great time becoming the confident grief coach that I was meant to be.”
“Pat Sheveland and the B.R.E.A.T.H.E. method came along at the perfect moment in my coaching career. As a Family Caregiver Coach, I knew there was a missing piece in my toolbox. That piece was Grief. I recognize that grief is a companion along the road of life, no matter where we are. Grief deserves to be witnessed and honored. The training offers skills I’ve been able to incorporate in my work with caregivers immediately. When we acknowledge this universal experience, we can support another person’s healing and a return to wholeness.”
“This grief coaching certification program is absolutely amazing. Whether you are a seasoned coach who’s new to the area of grief or just starting your coaching journey…. Pat Sheveland has created a course that allows you to stretch, learn and grow. Once completed you are not only living with EVERYTHING you need to be a successful coach but you are leaving with knowing how to best connect and co create with your client for truly life changing results!! My favorite part of the course was doing the live coaching sessions. It helped me to set up my sessions in a much better way… Thank you Pat for pouring your heart and soul not only into this course but also into me!!”
